Swiss leading newspaper Le Temps has published an interview with Polixis CEO Gagik Sargsyan on the question of whether Big Data and AI-powered solutions will replace the work of a Compliance Officer in the near future. The answer is – technology will definitely introduce massive efficiency gains in the work of compliance professionals, but will not replace them altogether. The key gain is - better deployment of talent. If technology can help produce faster and deeper AML & KYC analysis, the available human resource will be rather deployed on tasks that technology can't help with, such as the ultimate decision-making process.
